Dear Brother and Sister in Christ

May the Lord Bless You

Dear Reader,

The LORD bless you, and keep you; [to keep, guard, observe, give heed]

The LORD make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;

The LORD lift up His countenance on you,
And give you peace.’ Numbers 6:24-26

Like many believers, I often pray for my brothers and sisters in  Christ in situations where life is made difficult because of the influence of evil around them:

May the Lord bless them and keep them. May the wisdom directly from the Throne of God and the Holy Spirit (which always agrees with the Word of God) be made available to them. May they experience the Peace (wholeness) of Christ that surpasses understanding in tangible ways.  May they discern clearly that which faithfully offers deliverance, strategy, and comfort. May Justice and Righteousness reign in decision-making and accountability.

Regarding evil-doers working against the plan of God:

May their eyes be open, no longer deceived. May those who steal be brought low, without power. May their influence, their bribes and promises fall on deaf ears.  May the evil unseen forces that sustain and instigate  destructive and evil inclinations be cut off and removed  beyond influence and sustainability.

May those used of evil to cause destruction and chaos, hear the Gospel of Christ, His Kingdom and His Church so they may make an informed choice regarding Christ, His Kingdom and His Church. May they be judged accordingly .

And may those who choose Faith and Freedom that Christ offers, find Mercy.  May Strength in Him enable them to throw off the evil influence that encumbers them, sabotages and destroys them. May they experience true health and wholeness offered through Christian Salvation as they reach for the Prize of the upward call in Christ (Phil 4:13).

And  thus have my prayers been for several years now.

The other night I woke up to pray once again, but for a different group of people this time.  This group I have not thought of very much. However, it may be they who need the prayer support the most. I'm speaking of those on the front lines of the Spiritual battle we are in. Without support they will wear down, making them vulnerable to deception and compromise because they HAVE been doing what is right.... have become confident or maybe tired.

Let us  pray for those who are NOT in difficult places. Let us pray for those who are doing well, prospering, and walking freely in accordance with the Will of God without persecution. Let us pray they do not become deaf or blind to the call.

Let us pray for those  in Christ who are thankful and feel blessed. May they  be granted further revelation and a renewed inspiration with a clear spiritual and practical understanding. May they not become complacent, but instead be ready to receive  wisdom and direction regarding the assignments upon their lives. May the Word of God open up to them in a new way regarding the Revelation of Christ, His Kingdom and the role of His Church upon the earth.

May they be faithful.

May the Lord Bless them and keep them from that which undermines, steals or hijacks the God-given skills and understanding regarding  Kingdom assignments and purpose.   May complacency, busyness, and distraction not dominate, but rather be put in its proper place. May the Lord Bless them and keep them from ambush and harm, as they wisely discern the Spiritual reality of the events around them as they wisely heed the direction of Holy Spirit in their lives.

And finally, let us not forget the group who needs our consistent prayers, those in places of influence and decision-making places. May the Lord bless you and keep you.  May you hear the words, "Well done, Good and faithful servant."

May the Law of the Spirit of Life,  be an everlasting witness and signpost of direction to  spur you on toward completing the Kingdom assignments for which you are responsible. You were created with every ability required, within the Kingdom of God. God does not ask of us what we are not equipped to complete (Eph 2:10).

May that which strives to manipulate and oppress away from accomplishing the Will of God through fear, be seen for what it is, and be brought into order according to the Law of Love in Christ (1John 4:18).

May policy makers, courts and  leaders of people, steward the responsibility entrusted to them according the precepts of the Lord;  leaning on His understanding, according the Kingdom economics.

May those elected to office, remain true to their oath of office. May those who are fraudulently taking a place of office be removed.

And in closing, May the Church Jesus is Building continue to  press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14)

AMEN,

Grace and Peace,

Anne

“I feel as bright as a flower garden!” This phrase is included in a book I am currently working on. It has to do with an unexpected gift of colorful clothing. The idea came from an account regarding my grandfather's visit to a neighbor. The story began something like this: "One day "Pat" (my Grandfather) came to the door in to bring some vegetables from the garden." The neighbor went on to relate how embarrassed she was to open the door because she had just gotten out of the shower and had to hurriedly put on whatever clothes were handy before answering the door. The clothes did not match and she did not really pay attention until she was nearly to the door. In fact the colors wildly clashed, and she still had a towel (also colorful) around her wet hair. Today, we would probably just not answer the door, but this was a small town and people did not do that when it was someone they knew. She went on to tell how embarrassed and silly she felt but she decided to open the door anyway expecting my grandfather to make a depreciating comment about how silly she looked (because that was how she felt). She was pleasantly surprised by what my grandfather said, “Why, you look as purty as a garden full of flowers!” That was how I remember my grandparents teasing. They allowed the one being teased to participate without losing face. As far as I can remember, no one left feeling “less than,” but rather “a part of” when jokes were told. Some are so quick to criticize and joke in ways that put others down. Why highlight and tear apart the flaws in the name of humor or“truth in love” or simply to feel superior? Have you noticed the world has become quick to see what is not right. We do want injustice exposed, yes. But not just exposed! As believers, our desire is for justice and to be right with God, to stand for Truth because it is good for us, not just good to us. We were made to be the representatives of Christ upon the earth, so it is difficult to stand silent when injustice is happening. But a balance is needed. To complain and only report what the devil is up to and neglect the report of what God is doing and what He has said in His Word about similar matters in the past, works counter to our desire for righteousness. Likewise, concentrating on the flaws, condemning and highlighting the areas of weakness in others or even ourselves, denies the value of who God says we are and all He has placed within us to accomplish His good purposes. The option is always before us when we hear reports that are negative or discern what is unjust. We must wisely, with the help of the Holy Spirit, know how to respond to these moments. In small and large matters, we can choose to support life or death, literally and figuratively. That power is in our tongue, what we say aloud and think in our hearts. It is in our conversation: blessing or curses, grace or gossip. The power is in our prayers, the Scriptures we remember and those we call on in prayer. God says He watches over His Word to perform it. What Word are we speaking, praying, believing? When my Grandfather's neighbor opened the door to him in her crazy outfit, in that moment, he chose to support life. How? His joking comment cut off erased any opportunity for embarrassment to take hold. The joking comment about the flower garden, found a positive place to land in her heart that did not wound. He made light of the moment, canceling any need for shame, and brought laughter to a memory. Any other response could have caused that woman to cringe for the rest of the day. Instead, she remembered the moment at his memorial service with gratitude and laughter, remembering his kindness. Be a blessing, choose life. Listen to those who recognize the opportunity to apply Truth to negativity. Grace and Peace, Anne Jeremiah 1:12 “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.” Romans 8: 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death , but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, Proverbs 18:21: Death and life are in the power of the tongue : and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. see also
